About Platsdown Bakehouse
I’m a self taught baker, dog mom, and wife creating unique and delicious bakes based out of Minneapolis, Minnesota. I began making wedding cakes for friends after college when my husband bought me the book that changed everything, Beautiful Cakes by Peggy Porschen, and it has snowballed from there. I love creating edible art and pride myself on the little details. My inspiration and namesake, Platsdown, is my grandmother’s cottage in Devon, England. A place as whimsical and memorable as I aspire to make all my bakes.
